Lakers Go Alee

The Los Angeles Lakers were a ‘burdened vessel’ in Wednesday night’s game against the Clippers’ where a sell-out crowd at the Staples’ Center witnessed a 90 to 82 scoring game.  The Lakers have seemingly cast off their windward winning pace and turned alee, having lost four out of five games.  With the Western Conference playoff berths to be decided the Lakers 39-36 record is putting there position in danger of being taken over.  With the Clippers at 37-37 they are within 1 1/2 games of catching the Lakers, the Denver Nuggets being only a half away.  The Lakers find themselves in a role reversal at the worst possible time with the league’s disappointment of the season, the Clippers.  “We’re doing well,” Clippers’ Chris Kaman was quoted after the game, “We’re on a high note each game as the playoffs are getting closer and closer.  That’s a good place to be for us.”  See if the Lakers can hold the sixth spot live and get your tickets at StubHub.com.
