Lakers to Climb out of 2-0 at Home

The Los Angeles Lakers will play the next two games of their opening round series with the Phoenix Suns at home in the friendly Staples Center. Down 2-0, the Lakers face the daunting task of coming from behind in a format that heavily favors those who have home court advantage, and those who win the early games.

Luckily for the Lakers, and those who want to get Los Angeles Lakers playoff tickets for a potential game six at the Staples Center, the Suns will have to beat LA at least once at the Staples Center to stop the series from making another trip to Southern California. The Lakers were much better at home this year. Their record at Staples was 25-16, whereas their road record was 17-24.

Kobe Bryant will have to show up, and show up big-time. Home or not, the Lakers simply can not win without a consistently scoring Kobe. With any luck the Lakers can find a way to slow the game down. This will force the Suns play in the half court on offense instead of running free to the basket all night.
