Lakers Make Another Killing on the Court

The Los Angeles Lakers have added another victory to their growing list of wins, something they needed after a disappointing loss to Portland on Friday.  But this blog does not spend time focusing on bad news.  When you are reading the Los Angeles Lakers blog the glass is always half full.  So the Lakers were able to continue on their path of destruction when they met the Mavericks.  This time they edged out Dallas on Sunday in the National Basketball Association.  Their lucky charm is no doubt the talented Kobe Bryant who scored a high of 52 points during the game.  The final score was 108-104 which was reached after the game went into overtime.

Bryant certainly knows how to manage those expert shots on the court, with 30 of his points scored during the final quarter of the game as well as overtime.  Coach Phil Jackson was quite frank when he talked about Bryant’s contributions.  He was quoted on AFP as saying, “To say one single thing did it, Kobe Bryant is probably the reason we didn’t lose.”  So there you have it, Kobe Bryant and his hurt pinkie finger are just crushing the competition.  I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say that Kobe Bryant is the one player that the Lakers themselves cannot afford to loose.  Be sure not to miss the next game, get your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets from Stubhub.com.
