Oh Those Lakers!

The Los Angeles Lakers have proved that they are not in fact going to “go away.”  They managed to trample the Raptors last night with a 117-108 final score, showing fans that Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers plan on keeping hold of their impressive collective of wins.  This is not to say the Raptors didn’t put up a good fight.  Anthony Parker went point-for point with Kobe Bryant and possibly could have taken the Raptors to victory if the rest of his team was up to the challenge.  Unfortunately no one else played quite like the talented Parker, leaving the Raptors to finish second to the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in first place in the Western Conference although before last night’s game they were coming off of a home loss to the Sacramento Kings, which came as a surprise to fans.  It was the Lakers first home defeat to a team with an inferior record since November.  The Lakers, though effectively put their hurt feelings behind them and focused their attention on pummeling the Raptors on the Court.  For all Los Angeles fans, it was a very sweet night.  If you want to see the best team in the West make sure that you invest in a pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets before they all run out!
