Rockets Blast the Lakers Away

The Lakers were handed a decisive defeat by the Houston Rockets on Sunday.  The Rockets ended their tirade against Los Angeles with a final score of 104-94-stopping the Lakers impressive winning streak that has seen them soar to countless victories over the past few months.  The Rockets achieved greatness much thanks to star players Tracy McGrady and Rafer Alston who scored 31 points and hit eight three pointers. three pointers.  Kobe Bryant scored 24 points for the Lakers, which was not quite enough to tackle the Rockets who were truly raging on the court.

The Rockets have won 26 of their last 27 games and 31 of their last 34.  They truly had good defense moves and were able to beat the Lakers with some impressive skills on the court. Tonight the Lakers Meet New Orleans on the Court!

Tonight the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to make it happen once again.  The New Orleans Hornets will take on Kobe Bryant and the Lakers tonight in New Orleans.  The Lakers, are of course the top team in the West, so it is most likely that they will do everything they can to defend their current reigning position.  Not only will the Lakers take on the Hornets, but they will also make stops in Houston, Dallas and Utah.  They are 22-11 away from the Staples Center this season and look to up that score with the present road trip.  Most recently the Lakers squashed the Raptors on Tuesday with a 117-108 victory.

On the Road Again

The Los Angeles Lakers are once again hitting the road in an effort to prove to other NBA teams and fans just how talented they are on the court.  Of course they really don’t have to do much convincing, they currently hold the number one spot in the Western Division.  Nevertheless they begin their road games in New Orleans and will stop in also to visit the Houston Rockets, the Dallas Mavericks and the Utah Jazz.  The Lakers, who most definitely are superstars on the court, will have to make sure that their defensive skills are exceptional, because all of the above teams, boast excellent defense abilities.

Most recently the Lakers took down the Raptors with a final score of 117-108.  They are looking to tackle other teams as well on their adventure across the nation. Kobe Bryant will most likely help lead the Lakers to more victories as he is the number one player on the team.  Other star player, Andrew Bynum is undergoing physical therapy to help rehabilitate his knee.  Coach Phil Jackson said this on MVN.com, “The swelling that happens around that injury is what’s going to have to be watched and eliminated as we go down the stretch toward the end of the season.”  Don’t miss the Lakers in all their glory, with your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets.

Oh Those Lakers!

The Los Angeles Lakers have proved that they are not in fact going to “go away.”  They managed to trample the Raptors last night with a 117-108 final score, showing fans that Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers plan on keeping hold of their impressive collective of wins.  This is not to say the Raptors didn’t put up a good fight.  Anthony Parker went point-for point with Kobe Bryant and possibly could have taken the Raptors to victory if the rest of his team was up to the challenge.  Unfortunately no one else played quite like the talented Parker, leaving the Raptors to finish second to the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in first place in the Western Conference although before last night’s game they were coming off of a home loss to the Sacramento Kings, which came as a surprise to fans.  It was the Lakers first home defeat to a team with an inferior record since November.  The Lakers, though effectively put their hurt feelings behind them and focused their attention on pummeling the Raptors on the Court.  For all Los Angeles fans, it was a very sweet night.  If you want to see the best team in the West make sure that you invest in a pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets before they all run out!

The Lakers Must Keep Their Eyes on the Ball!

The Los Angeles Lakers cannot afford to loose another game on the court after the Kings upset them in a very close race-with the final score being 114 to 113, with the Kings walking away with their crown still intact.  They are in an equally tight race for the Western Conference and their next game is against the Toronto Rapters at the Staples Center tonight.  Lakers fans will most likely be rooting on the star player of the favored team, Kobe Bryant as he looks to add more points and assists to his already glistening record. Bryant has a 28.0 scoring average against the Raptors and is his second biggest against any club, with the first being 36.2 against Charlotte.

Toronto All Star forward Chris Bosh was quoted on USA Today as saying, “He’s (Bryant) the best one on one player in the league, hands down.  It makes it tougher on us to help because he wasn’t really selfish with the ball tonight.  He played a great game.”  Bosh was referring to the game on February 1st when the Lakers beat the Raptors 121-101.  Make sure that you cheer on the Kobe Bryant and the Lakers with your very own pair of Los Angles Lakers tickets in hand!

The Kings Keep Their Crown

Saturday night saw the Los Angeles Lakers take a step down to the Sacramento Kings who barely kept hold of their crowd with only a one point lead-114-113.  The Kings though, are not a stupid bunch.  They know the strength of the Los Angeles Lakers rests with star player Kobe Bryant.  Consequently their ability to overtake the Lakers, albeit by only one point, was to successfully block Bryant from making any move near the basket.  Bryant was forced to shoot from a very unfortunate position which resulted in the ball bouncing off the rim and landing the Kings with their much needed victory.

The Kings were led by the successful player Beno Udrih, who scored 25 points and ten assists and really was the turning point for the Kings when the Lakers looked as if they might be closing in on their lead.  The Kings were no doubt thrilled with the outcome of the game and they also officially ended their three game loosing streak and they recorded their second win out of the nine games already played this season.  The Lakers will no doubt have to re-group and get it back together so they will not be at risk of losing another battle on the court.  See the much heralded team with your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets from Stubhub.com.

Los Angeles is in the Spotlight

Well obviously the Lakers are already hogging up a good portion of the spotlight, but tonight another Los Angeles team will try to get their name up in lights: the Los Angeles Clippers.  The two L.A. teams will meet at the Staples Center tonight.  The odds are of course better for the Lakers, who have have won so many games recently, it’s just getting hard to keep track.  The Clippers have thus far lost three of the last four games in the contest this season and are perhaps a little daunted by the task of taking on the talented Lakers.  But then again, you never now what will happen and the Clippers could, once again show there renewed strength on the court.

The Lakers are 21-7 so far this season as the home team and they are also preparing to host the Toronto Rapters on Tuesday, also at the Staples Center.  Lakers fans must be overjoyed at all of their team’s recent wins, they just have to hope that the team, along with star player, Kobe Bryant can keep up the momentum.  There is no time now to loose speed in the race to become NBA champions.  If you are a fan, the best thing you can do is see this superb team live in action, don’t waste another minute, be sure to get your own pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets as soon as possible and enjoy the excitement of the game!

Better Than Cowbells

The Los Angeles Lakers are undoubtedly awesome on the court and if you don’t believe me, just take a look at their list of recent victories. Kobe Bryant, with his hurt pinkie finger is just crushing all of the competition that comes his way, as you can see by this photo posted on Hollyscoop.com-this would be in their sports section. Bryant, a man who can look cool even in a purple uniform seems to be giving the old “What you looking at man, this is my ball now…get your own-” to the members of the Sacramento Kings, who walked away in a sort of royal defeat, if you will. Bryant was apparently quoted as saying, “It’s better than hearing cowbells” in response to the plethora of Sacramento fans at the game shouting “M-V-P! at L.A.’s star player.

In actuality I’m not exactly sure what he meant by that. Is it that great to hear the jingling of cowbells? I mean don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to Switzerland and standing in the alps sipping hot chocolate amongst wildflowers, while the only sounds in the distance are cowbells is quite an appealing circumstance. However I’m not sure that it could be described as “music to my ears.” Bryant was also quoted as saying, “I don’t got to worry about nobody poisoning my burger now. Number 12

The Los Angeles Lakers have won again.  This marks victory number 12 for the Los Angeles team that just won’t take a loss for an answer.  They scored 117 to the Kings 105 on Tuesday night-though their competition was tough, and I’m not just talking about the Sacramento Kings.  Last night was the “Second Super Tuesday” for political candidates and many political gurus were glued to the television intent on seeing the results as they poured in.  I was one of those people.  Of course the political race seems more like a wildcard, whereas with the Lakers there is most definitely a clear front-runner.  The Los Angeles Lakers are most definitely a team that fans can count on.  Kobe Bryant rocked on with 34 points this game and reassured fans that he was the guy that could keep the Lakers’ momentum soaring.

First Place Lakers Meet the Kings Tonight

Tonight the Lakers and the Kings will meet on the court in Sacramento.  Los Angeles though is the current reigning king of the Pacific division, restating that fact with their win over the Dallas Mavericks in overtime on Sunday.  It remains to be seen how they will fare tonight but as of now the Lakers have the advantage, especially with their superstar player, Kobe Bryant, who has just been tearing it up on the court.  After their row with the Kings the Lakers will return home to take on the Clippers the Kings once again and the Raptors.  For Lakers fans this past month has certainly brought much excitement as the Lakers strengthen their lead and look to seriously pummel any competition that might stand in their way.
