Lakers Just Waiting Around

April 30, 2008

The Los Angeles just completed a four game sweep of the Denver Nuggets on Monday.  They are gearing up to play host to Games 1 and 2 of the conference semifinals should the Jazz advance.  The Jazz is remembered for going 1-3 against the Lakers in the regular NBA season.  The Lakers are counting on such important players like Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odem and Pau Gasol to help continue the team’s success on the courts.  In a match up against the Utah Jazz, Kobe Bryant would certainly help out the Lakers’ success being that he averaged about 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists against the Jazz this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have certainly proved their success on the court and you will want to catch as many games of theirs as you can.  The Lakers don’t mess around when it comes to retaining a significant lead in the Western Conference.  The Utah Jazz should gear up and get ready to take on the Lakers.  It is too early to foresee the future, but my money is still with the Lakers.  Be sure to get your Los Angeles Lakers tickets as soon as possible.

Will it Be the Lakers and the Celtics?!

April 25, 2008

Both the Lakers and the Celtics have played exceptionally well this season and have proved their worth on the court.  The question is: will they be the two teams that match up against each other in the finals?  Both teams have had a long history with the NBA and have boasted some very talented players over the years.  For those who can remember way back when, The Lakers and the Celtics rivalry was extremely hot in the 1980s and the Lakers are remembered for winning five championships much thanks to the help of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

So will these two teams meet up again this year?  That is anyone’s guess, but the Celtics had the NBA’s best regular season record and they should trample any other team with a weaker record.  The Lakers will have to make it through the Western Conference, where it seems that many teams are still strong.  But the Lakers have many wins to boast of, so this scenario could very well play out to be true.  Don’t miss out on your chance to see Los Angeles live in action, get your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets as soon as you can!

The Lakers Win Again…Surprise!

April 24, 2008

The Los Angeles Lakers handed out another win against the Denver Nuggets. This was game number two of their first round playoff series against the Nuggets and during the course of the game Kobe Bryant scored a nice 49 points as well as ten assists, this was one shy of his career playoff high. Apparently during the course of the game, according to the Associated Press there was some trash talking taking place between the players Bryant and Martin. According to Lamar Odom, “He’s one of those players that you don’t really want to make mad. He can make shots from anywhere with people on him. I was surprised to see Martin talking at Bryant. You never want to wake a sleeping giant. He can hit shots on anybody, on a number of defenders anywhere on the floor.

The Los Angeles Lakers have really managed to blow their competition out of the water and they continue to dominate the courts. The recent win has further solidified their already high standing in the conference. Much thanks to the skills of Bryant and also of Oden and Gasol the Los Angeles Lakers prove to be the best of the best when they meet up with other teams on the basketball court. Make sure to act as quickly as possible and get your own pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets.

Los Angeles Looks to Gasol

April 23, 2008

Pau Gasol has made quite a name for himself during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.  In fact, he is helping the Lakers dominate the court in this round of championships.  He had a huge part in helping the Lakers secure the number one spot in the most intense Western Conference playoff race ever.  He accomplished this goal on Sunday when he scored 36 points with 16 rebounds and eight assists when the Lakers trounced the Denver Nuggets with a 128-114 victory.  He along with Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom have really shown that the Lakers are not a team to mess with on the court.
