Lakers Victorious!

The Los Angeles Lakers have emerged as victors in the Western Conference after a 106-85 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.  The Lakers have Kobe Bryant to thank for their dominance on the court.  Bryant scored 20 points in the game and helped the 14 time champions move ahead of the New Orleans Hornets at the top of their conference.  Some other superstar players helped bring the Lakers to top status.  Those players are: Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol who scored 17 points and 14 points, respectively.

The Lakers have most definitely impressed all of their dedicated fans and even their most skeptical critics.  They have basically assured their spot on the court and in the conference and can only be bumped if the Rockets pick up two consecutive wins and the Lakers are defeated by the Sacramento Kings this week.  According to Clubcall.com Kobe Bryant was quoted as saying, “It’s all about momentum.  We got some momentum int he second half with steals and made timely baskets.”  Make sure not to miss out on the game with your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets in hand!
