Kobe Bryant MVP Award?

Apparently Kobe Bryant has more statistical seasons and has won more games but he has never been closer to winning the most valuable player award than he is this season, according to the Washington Post.  The Los Angeles enjoyed quite a victory on Friday when they won the Pacific Division for the first time in the post- Shaquille O’Neal era the team itself is in the position to grab the top spot in the Western Conference with a needed win against the Sacramento Kings.

As for Kobe Bryant, he is currently rivaling New Orleans Hornets point Chris Paul for the game’s highest individual honor.  Bryant is averaging about 28.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists.  He has brought his team to a very elite status despite playing the last two months of the season with a torn ligament in his right pinkie finger.  Of course, Bryant’s pinkie finger did not interfere with his great skills and it is most likely that he will capture the weighty title of MVP.  Be sure not to miss the fantastic team with your pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets.
