Los Angeles Overtakes Denver!

The Los Angeles Lakers have continued their climb after a win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.  The champion of the night appeared to be the star player Pau Gasol who scored a nice 36 points and also grabbed 16 rebounds to help bring the Lakers to a decisive 128-114 in Game One of their Western Conference quarter final series on Sunday.  The Los Angeles Lakers have affirmed their top spot in the NBA and they continue to show dominance on the court.  Sunday night was no exception and the Lakers hope to further display their offense and defense skills on the court in the many games to come.

Kobe Bryant had this to say on Bloomberg.com, of his teammate, Pau Gasol, “I knew he could perform at a high level.  This isn’t Memphis.  This offense has freed him up a bit and showcased more of what he can do instead of just being in the post all the time.”  Bryant and other teammate, Lamar Odom also helped bring the Lakers to victory by adding 49 points to the game collectively.  Make sure to keep your eyes on the Lakers and if you want to see a dynamite game live in person, make sure to get your own pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets from Stubhub.com.
