According to the Canadian Press, Kobe Bryant seems to want to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, quite possibly until the end of his career. Bryant was quoted in the paper as saying, “Absolutely. I’ve always wanted to be here. I love the weather. I love my ‘63 drop-top Impala. I lov ethe 405 (freeway). I love my guys.” These comments were made just after the Lakers overtook the Denver Nuggets 128-114. Kobe Bryant has been one of the top players for the Lakers and is possibly up for MVP for his talents for this basketball season.
Bryant is under a contract through the 2010-2011 season, but if he chooses to do so, he can opt out after next season. Bryant maintains that the thought has not even crossed his mind. Bryant has certainly been a great asset to the Los Angeles Lakers and he always contributes many points and assists to the game. The Lakers, I’m sure will be thrilled to have him stay on for a while longer.
