Lakers and Spurs Get Geared Up!

The time is drawing near for a showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semi-finals.  Both the Lakers and the Spurs are very talented on the court and will most definitely present an exciting game for all fans.  The Lakers and the Spurs are in their current positions for several reasons.  The Lakers swept the Denver Nuggets in four games and eventually defeated the Utah Jazz, who were hanging on until the very end in Game Six.  The Spurs defeated the talented Phoenix Suns in five games and the equally popular New Orleans Hornets in seven games.

An interesting match-up in these games will be Kobe Bryant against Bruce Bowen.  Bryant has had a great season and emerged as the NBA’s MVP and Bowen is one of the league’s top defenders.  Bryant seems to always know when to throw the right shots and he has not yet disappointed his team members this season.  The Lakers will also rely on the talents of teammates Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom.  Make sure to get your own pair of Los Angeles Lakers tickets.
